Vinay Raj Somashekar the Automotive Designer at the company revealed in an interview by saying that, “The Hero Splendor is the quintessential motorcycle in the country, period. Its appearance is iconic and ageless. There is almost nothing random about its design. Every element feels meaningful and purposeful, and the proportions are spot on.”
Splendor Electric Bike is said to be launched by March 2024 and everyone in India really hopes to see the very friendly household bike on roads very soon.

Splendor Electric Bike Launch Date
According to the reports, the electric version of Hero Splendor is soon going to be launched in March 2024 now as the original launch dates provided by the company previously was in 2023 but because of some internal reasons the bike is not yet launched.
Hero needs to launch its electric bike very soon as per the guidelines of the Indian Government. The government of India has given the guidelines for every motor company that it needs to launch its EV vehicles in different segments by the year 2026.

There is no official price announced by the Hero till now but the estimated price for the electric version of Splendor is approximately Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs. 1.5 lakh INR. The price stated is not yet fixed by any official update it is procured from the rumours about and around the bike in the Indian markets.

The on-road price of the bike will certainly vary from state to state across the country. Thus, the taxes and other charges vary from one to another state significantly.
The ex-showroom price of the bike is estimated to be around 1 lakh thus the on-road price of the bike in different states across the country can vary from Rs 1.2 lakh to 1.5 lakh INR.
The price of the bike will also vary according to the accessories chosen by the buyers, as it might provide with an option of battery pack in the bike thus the price may vary if the buyer chooses the ordinary battery pack or the other one with better and longer range to run on the roads.

How to Convert Hero Splendor Petrol Bike to Electric Bike
It is also an option for the Splendor fans as well as users to convert their petrol version of the bike to electric bike. The users just have to fit an electric motor which runs on a battery by removing the engine of the bike.
There is a company which makes electric kits for the Splendor and is actively selling the kits in the market. The company is known by the name GoGoA1, and the kit costs around Rs 42,000, this kit allows the Splendor owners to convert their bike in EV versions.
Thus there is no official confirmation by the company, Hero MotoCorp about the launch date of the EV version of Splendor but it is hoped that the company will soon launch its Electric bike in the most loved bike by the Indians very soon in 2024.
