Due to a cloudburst at Jadon village in Kandaghat district, seven people were killed. Along with this, two houses and one cowshed washed away in this massive cloudburst.
The Rescue team finds it challenging to reach on time. Still, the Rescue team manages to save a family, a man, and his daughter, taking them to the safer side.
The Meteorological Department of India (IMD) sent red alerts to several districts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on Sunday: โVery heavy to extremely heavy rain/ thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and very intense to extremely intense spell is very likely to occur at isolated places in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar in next 24 hours.โ
