Two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district were killed on Monday after an Indian Army looked at an Infiltration Bid across the Line of Control (LoC). This was the joint search operation of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army.
The alert troops noticed the movement of some terrorists in the Dewgar Sector in the district. Troops saw that some terrorists were trying to sneak in under cover of darkness in the early morning hours.
J&K police and Indian Army’s joint search operation caught two terrorists trying to skip the LoC from the Pakistan side and were tied up in a gunfight with the Indian army. During the gunfight, one was shot dead on the spot, and another was shot in the body while he was trying to run back to the Line of control. He was shot and kneeled in front of the Indian Army. This incident took place around 2 AM in the Garhi Battalion area.
