Luke Kuechly is a former standout player of the National Football League (NFL) and a football linebacker who spent all of his eight seasons of the NFL playing with the Carolina Panthers team that he gave his heart and soul to.
Born on April 20, 1991, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Evendale, Ohio. growing up Luke went to St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, where he played linebacker and safety for the football team, earning the title of best high school team in America in 2007.
His journey in the NFL commenced in 2012 when the Carolina Panthers drafted him as the 9th overall pick. Steeping on the field as a rookie, he wasted no time he led the NFL in tackles and won himself Associated Press 2012 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award followed by another honor of becoming the youngest recipient of the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award in its history in 2013.
