Kia Sonet was first introduced back in the year 2020 and the car took hold of the markets with its impressive looks from the outside as well as inside along with this it also occupied the markets because of its amazing performance.
The facelift of the upgraded Kia Sonet is expected to be launched on 14th of December in 2023-24 and the company has already started with the campaign for its facelift launch of Kia Sonet to raise awareness amongst the buyers.
A teaser video has also been launched by the company which flaunts the changes done to the car and what to expect from the new Kia Sonet in the future is partially revealed through its teaser video and else will be soon revealed with its official facelift.
Kia Sonet Facelift Main Features (Expected)
The users can expect certain new features in the new facelift launch model of December 2023-24. They are:
- The buyers would get new grille, alloy wheels, and a LED taillight inspired from Kia Seltos model of 2023.
- It will probably offer similar engine options as the existing one.
- Expected to get a 360 degree camera and ADAS feature with 10.25 inch digital driver display.
Booking for the new Kia Sonet will start from 2024 and the buyers can book it for a token amount of Rs 25,000 only at any dealership of KIA.

Kia Sonet 2024 Facelift: Exterior Upgraded
The teaser released by the company reveals that the Sonet facelift model is going to get a new front bumper in which the fog lights are placed horizontally below the intakes. The car is expected to have new tweaked front and rear bumpers with redesigned lights on the front as well as rear.
It is also going to get new LED headlights which are somewhat similar to that of the current Seltos model. The light units seem to be framed by new LED DRLs on the three sides.
It is also revealed by the teaser of the car that it is going to get a newly designed grille which would eventually enhance the overall look of the Kia Sonet giving it a luxurious look.
Kia Sonet 2024 Facelift: Interior Upgraded
The interior of the Kia Sonet doesn’t seem to be changed much from the older one according to the video teaser released by the company. It seems that it will have the similar 10.25 inch floating infotainment touchscreen, climate control system with screen and controls just below it.
One of the new features seen in the facelift model of the car is that it will have analogue dials which is actually a new digital instrument cluster just as the one launched in the facelift of Kia Seltos.
Earlier leaked shots of the Kia Sonet Facelift model reveal that the seats are covered in brown upholstery and in the rear an armrest is to be added in the new facelift model. It is also confirmed from the teaser that the Bose music system will continue to be offered in the highest specifications model of the car like the older one only.

The turbo petrol and diesel models of the new Kia Sonet are expected to retain its 6-speed iMT, and there are probabilities of it to get an option of 7-speed dual clutch and 6-speed torque converter with automatic transmissions. There are even talks of the comeback of the Kia Sonet diesel manual option variant.

Kia Sonet Facelift: Safety Features
Kia Sonet Facelift is going to continue having six airbags across all its variants from base to highest. But the higher models are going to have some extra features as an add-on to the car such as rear camera, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring assist system, hill-start assist and cornering lamps.
The most that is expected from the facelift model of Kia Sonet is ADAS system just like its other rivals, it is expected that it will be installed with a Level 1 ADAS which will monitor and control the car in a situation of forward collision avoidance, high beam assist, lane keeping assist and a lot of assistance from the car while driving keeping safety the first priority.
