Hero MotoCorp, the largest two-wheeler producer in the nation, unveiled on 29 August the much-expected Hero Karizma XMR 210 2023 at a starting price of Rs 1,72,900 (ex-showroom). The company revived the storied “Karizma” nameplate with this debut.
Powerful and laden with features, the new Karizma XMR 2023 is a motorcycle. A first for Hero MotoCorp, it has a 210cc, 4V, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine. Power and torque outputs of 25.5PS and 20.4Nm, respectively, are both class-leading. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
Hero Karizma XMR 210: Design
A new design has been used to re-update the brand-new Karizma XMR. The main attraction is the dual projector LED headlamp with tri-arrow signatures for LED DRLs on either side. The general design of the headlamp cluster differs significantly from preceding Karizma models, including the original, the ZMR, and the R.
It has features including a prominent front fairing, a sizable windscreen, rear view mirrors mounted on the fairing, a raised floating tail section, and split-style seating that are typical of a faired sports bike. The raised clip-on handlebar should provide a relatively upright and comfortable riding posture despite the footpegs appearing to be slightly rear-set. Split grip rails, spoked alloy wheels, and a short exhaust silencer are further eye-catching features.
