After the Australia vs Pakistan test match, Nathan Lyon wife revealed another big news: it’s been a few months since the couple welcomed their first newborn child. This is the first time Nathan and Emma shared the news of a new addition in the family publicly.
However, the rumors about Emma McCarthy’s pregnancy were circling on the Internet for quite some time. There were also photos of Nathan Lyon and Emma holding a newborn baby but nothing was official.

Emma said, “I don’t know, we’ve had a baby, it’s just a lot. Rehab, the Ashes, India. It’s been non-stop. So to have him home for a couple of months was really lovely, but not on those terms, but just to see him throughout today is just amazing.”

Emma also seemed relieved in an interview with Channel 7 and said,
“I think there’s been a bit more nervousness around this game about the rehab, about the calf, about the body. Will it all hold up and will be able to perform the way he always has? So I think it’s just more relief more than anything. But I think he’ll celebrate now for sure.”
Emma told reporters that now she can enjoy it while the Australia and Pakistan test match is over.
She further added, “So I think it is more relief than anything. I think he will celebrate now, for sure.”
36-year-old Nathan Lyon is the new member of the 500th wickets club in the test. Nothing could be a more ceremonious day to reveal another great news. Emma was also excited about her husband Nathan Lyon on a great achievement.
