According to the sources, Messi will be featured in a Seven-a-side Cricket match, taking place at Wankhede Stadium in December. On top of that, he is driving his fans and cricket lovers crazy as Indian star cricketers – Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are likely to play in that match.

This Argentine legend, who has had a dream run in football, is expected to visit Wankhede Stadium on December 14 for an event, with permission granted by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). A number of cricket superstars will also mark their presence at the historical event.
A famous event company has approached the MCA to book the stadium for December 14. Messi’s arrival in Mumbai is connected to a promotional tour of India. An official from MCA has revealed that Messi will engage in a cricket match with modern-day and former Indian cricketers.
According to a report, Messi will travel to three Indian cities (Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai) during his promotional tour from December 13 to 15. First, he is likely to be seen in Kolkata for a felicitation ceremony at the Eden Gardens. During this time, he will also guide children during a football workshop.
The 38-year-old Messi is currently active in Major League Soccer, representing Inter Miami in the last phase of his bright career. He visited India last in 2011 with his attendance getting marked in Kolkata to play a friendly match against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium.
Notably, he is a great player with iconic achievements, being a favourite football player for many. After leading Argentina to the FIFA World Cup in 2022, playing cricket with Indian star players is another milestone for Messi, as it will be a rare and promising opportunity for both Football and cricket fans.
